The Philippines is made up of over 7,000 islands, as a tourist it can be difficult to figure out where to stay in the Philippines if its your first trip! For me, the Philippines is very similar to Thailand in regards to the weather and currency.
We found in some areas, it wasn’t as overcrowded or overly touristy which means you are able to enjoy the Philippine culture and meet some very friendly locals!
Quick note: Prices will obviously vary from high season to low season, in some cases by almost 50%! Low tourist season is from June to August and high tourist season is November to April.
We will cover off all types of Philippines accommodation options from Hostels to luxury Philippines hotels as well as how to decide where to stay in Philippines 2023, the best Philippines hotels, best places in Philippines to visit, the best places to stay in Philippines, hotels near Philippines attractions, Philippines neighborhood guide and many more.

Boracay:
Boracay is a small island in the Philippines located approximately 315 km south of Manila and just off the northwest tip of Panay Island in Western Visayas region of the Philippines.
Boracay is known for its nice beach, clear waters, lots of water sports to choose from and some epic parties in station 1,2 and 3. Personally I think Boracay is the best city to stay in Philippines
However, it isn’t just a party island, it offers several luxury hotels with private beaches as well as a few quiet beaches away from the main beaches in station 1,2 and 3, head over to Station 4,5 and 6 to relax and hang out away from the crowds. Below we will show you where to stay in Boracay.

Manila is a huge city with several district which contain sightseeing, restaurant, nightlife and accommodation.
Manila, the capital of the Philippines, is a densely populated bayside city on the island of Luzon, which mixes Spanish colonial architecture with modern skyscrapers. Manila has a reputation as a congested, polluted concrete jungle, and it’s often overlooked as a mere stopover for travellers aiming to reach other Philippine islands.
To an extent this reputation is deserved, but Manila is rapidly developing and has its own history and experiences to offer and not to mention its extensive nightlife! Its worth a visit, even if it’s a 1 -2 day stop over. Below we will show you where to stay in Manila.

Siquijor
Siquijor is the third smallest province in the country, in terms of population as well as land mass. Siquijor’s long-time reputation as a place of magic and sorcery both attracts and repulses visitors.
It’s also well known for its festivals that focus on healing rituals where incantations are sung while the old folks make potions out of herbs, roots, insects and tree barks.
Locals may quietly share a story about folk legends pointing to the existence of witchcraft and witches on the island.
However this isnt what the island is all about, among the many attractions are the stunning beaches, caves, waterfalls, Bandila‑an natural park and butterfly sanctuary.
The White sand beaches make up most of the 102-kilometer coastline of Siquijor. Below we will show you where to stay in Siquijor:
