Loboc – Where to stay in Bohol for eco tourists
Loboc is an inland village, about 25 kilometers east of Tagbilaran. Located on the shores of the Loboc River, Loboc is the perfect destination for adventure travelers who are less interested in a laid-back beach vacation and would prefer exploring the jungles, rivers, and waterfalls of Bohol. The river is very popular for cruises, but also for kayak trips.
The area is popular with eco-tourists, with many attractions to see, including the Tarsier Conservation Area, the Loboc Eco-Tourism Adventure Park. and the Habitat Butterflies Conservation Area. Tarsiers are a rare primate only found on islands in Southeast Asia, so even if you do not stay in Loboc, it’s worth a day trip to seek out these tiny, wide-eyed creatures.

Between Loboc and Anda, the town of Jagna lies along the southern coast of Bohol.
