Buckingham Palace
The official London residence of the Royal Family, going to see the iconic beefeaters outside Buckingham Palace has to be on everyone’s London bucket list. Be sure to pose for a picture outside the iconic gates and if you’re lucky (weather permitting), head there between 10.15-11.45am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from January to March to watch the changing of the guard ceremony take place.
The Tower of London
The historic Tower of London is an incredible castle in the middle of the city where you can head to catch a glimpse of the stunning crown jewels. The castle museum houses amazing armour from decades gone by, royal memorabilia and is a great opportunity to learn about the history of the British Royal Family. It’s usually packed with tourists and school trips all year round so weekdays can be the best time to go.
The London Eye
No visit to the big smoke is complete without a trip on the incredible London Eye. With panoramic views of the whole city, it’s one of the world’s most famous attractions and the best way to see the beautiful sprawling city.
