Crosby Beach – Where to stay in Liverpool by the beach

For a more suburban experience, visitors might consider staying in Crosby. This small coastal town is less than ten kilometers from Liverpool city centre, but offers a very different atmosphere.

Crosby offers a true seaside experience with a beach and tide-pools, as well as the Antony Gormley sculpture, “Another Place.”

100 cast iron figures have been placed around the beach and are often submerged at high tide, making this a very interesting art installation.

A promenade follows the beach, making this a great destination for runners and cyclists. A direct train can easily take you to Liverpool for more sightseeing.
