Finns Recreation Club, Canggu
Among the peaceful rice fields surrounding the city of Canggu, you will find Finns Recreation Club. Catering to both tourists, locals and expats, Finns Recreation Club offers something for everyone. It features a fully-equipped fitness centre, and the club facilities include sports grounds with a pool, a tennis centre and a body temple spa.
On-site you will also find a sports bar and restaurants, and if you are travelling with children, you will surely appreciate the Finns Recreation’s Kids Club! There is even a co-working space (open daily from 7 am to 10 pm) that offers a meeting room and a library room; heaven for digital nomads who like to stay active.
The facilities are open daily between 6 am – 8 pm, and you can purchase various packages from drop-in sessions, weekly passes to long-term memberships.
Some of the time-limited passes suitable for Bali visitors are specially tailored to travelling families. Bali S2S Crossfit, Canggu
Ready for a serious workout in a fun Canggu gym? Head to S2S CrossFit for cardio-, HIIT (high-intensity interval training) and CrossFit sessions. S2S CrossFit is a community-driven gym, that first and foremost wants you to have fun with your workout.
With at least 3 led fitness classes a day, open gym area as well as special classes and events, even with the busiest holiday itinerary you can find time for a drop-in at S2S CrossFit. The studio is located centrally in Canggu, within walking distance from some of the city’s most popular cafés – you will need to fuel up after a Crossfit workout!
S2S CrossFit offers daily drop-in sessions, memberships (for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks – great for visitors who are planning to stay in Bali up to a month), but also personal training sessions (single sessions and personal training packages).
If you are only looking for access to an open gym, you can purchase an open gym pass for a more favourable price than packages that include group CrossFit, cardio- and HIIT classes. Before you make your way to the studio, visit them digitally!

Rai Fitness Sunset Bali, Kuta
Welcome to the first mega gym in Bali! Looking for Life Fitness US workout gear and Lesmills International fitness classes led by a certified instructor? You have come to the right place; Rai Fitness Sunset Bali has it all, and they take your workout seriously. On top of a fully-equipped fitness centre, Rai Fitness also offers a swimming pool, courts for basketball and soccer and a sauna.
To learn more about their long-term memberships and special rates, you can contact Rai Fitness directly through their website, but if you only want to check it out for one day, a single drop-in is 55,000 IDR (approx. 3,85 USD), which includes gym entry, access to the daily fitness sessions (Lesmills fitness classes, yoga, Zumba and Pilates) as well as use of the centre’s swimming pool and sauna. Rai Fitness will provide towels and filtered water.
The centre is conveniently located in Kuta, and it is open every day. During the week you can start your work-out as early as 6 am. In the weekends the centre opens at 8 in the morning.
Soham Wellness Center, Seminyak
The mission of Soham Wellness Center is to make your life healthier and happier, which is why Soham Gym Bali offers much more than just motion fitness. On top of fitness classes and private sessions, there are SPA and wellness treatments.
If you want to go deeper than a regular massage or a facial, you can try a special ayurvedic treatment or one of the healing sessions offered at Soham Wellness. There are various styles of yoga classes, but the centre also offers chakra healing to revitalize and energize your entire body.
Body-mind treatments like a chakra healing session aim to restore the energetic balance in your body and they encourage you to look at and treat your body more holistically.
Soham Wellness is conveniently located in Seminyak. The doors open every day at 6 AM, and you can use the facilities until 10 PM. Hammerhead Gym, Kuta
Head to one of the more popular gyms in Legian Bali, Hammerhead Gym from the early morning hours. From Monday to Saturday the gym opens at 6 AM, and on Sundays you can train from 8 in the morning. Join some of the daily fitness classes; there is Zumba, belly dance and even special “Dangdut” dance!
The sessions are led by certified international and Balinese instructors. If you prefer working out on your own, you will surely enjoy the large cardio space of Hammerhead Gym, fully equipped with treadmills, stepping machines and bikes. Remember to stretch after your workout! Hammerhead Gym’s stretching and the aerobic area is overlooking Kuta’s tranquil sunset and Bali’s volcanoes.
Even though Hammerhead Gym is not one of the designated Bali Boxing Gyms, you will find great boxing classes there. The trainer Usman is a 3-time national boxing champion! You can book private training sessions with him too, the session will be adjusted to your fitness and boxing experience level.
Remember to re-energize your body after a challenging class! At Hammerhead Gym you can also buy a wide range of high-quality dietary supplements, pre- and post-workout snacks and drinks to fuel and nourish your body!
Depending on your time in Kuta, you can choose the fitness membership that suits you best and best fits your schedule. Hammerhead Gym offers discounted entry fee between 12 – 4 PM, a drop-in session within this time window is only 40,000 IDR (less than 3 USD), and it includes instructor-led fitness classes!
Level 21 Denpasar
The fully-equipped world-class Level 21 Denpasar Gym is often mentioned as the best gym in Bali. You will find an expansive cardio area, a separate cycling studio, a “main” studio for aerobics or functional training as well as a free-weight area and the so-called “playground” area with kettlebells, TRX straps and medicine balls.
Every day there are fitness classes suitable for every level! Join a spinning class or aerobic session, challenge yourself with a Lessmills training or try a (floating!) yoga class!
Level 21 Denpasar is a part of Celebrity Fitness chain, and since the two collaborate, it is a branch of Fitness First Bali. It is a great pick for those who already have a fitness membership (for example from Jakarta) at either Fitness First or Celebrity Fitness Indonesia.

WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio, Nusa Dua
Worried that you will not be able to keep up your workout sessions while vacating in Nusa Dua? The beautiful, bright WestinWORKOUT studio offers everything you might need to maintain your health and fitness routines.
