Odense C – Where to stay in Odense for tourists

Odense C is the centrum, or city center, and the best area for tourists who want to be close to everything in walking distance.

The main train station is here, as is the majority of Odense hotels. Two of Hans Christian Andersen’s homes are near the center, as are many museums and historic attractions.

The centrum is also the nightlife hub of Odense, and travelers who choose a hotel in this district will not go hungry, with dozens of amazing restaurants to try.

While Denmark is notoriously expensive, it is still possible to find budget-friendly accommodations in or near the city center.

Of course, you’ll still want to visit attractions in the city center, which is only 15 minutes by bike and also easy to reach by bus.

While there are fewer Odense hotels in this area, there are a few scattered about as well as apartment rentals which are perfect for traveling with kids.
