We got to Fishermans Village and wandered around for a little bit, as it was only 4:30, the stalls were still setting up so we decided to sit on the beach and have a drink, we stumbled upon “Coco Tams”, a very cool “on the beach” bar. I remember reading reviews about how good the Coconut ice cream here was. I had a few huge Strawberry Mojitos and we also had some of their very famous coconut ice cream with a shot of baileys. They have huge big bean bags to sit on that didnt look to impressive but in fact were surprisingly comfortable. It was lovely to sit on the beach drinking cocktails and listening to the waves.

After lazing about for an hour we decided to go for a walk through the market. We did a bit of shopping (clothes and bits and pieces.) We came across a stall selling “squid on a stick”. it was literally a baby squid on a stick and then cooked over an open fire. We also stopped to get some “fried ice cream” which I think is like cold rock. It was ice cream Liquid which was poured onto a freezing surface, they then mixed stuff in with it (berries, cookies etc) and the liquid froze into ice cream with your stuff mixed in, was very cool. I had some chicken on a stick.. nothing too adventurous! But Ill keep trying….
Fishermans Village also sells fairy floss!!! (aka spun sugar on a stick or in a cup).. I haven’t had this stuff nice I was a kid! Yummmmmy! Although in the heat it pretty much melted the second it touched my finger.
