South Trento Villages – Where To Stay in Trento With a Car

There aren’t any areas in or near Trento you should avoid because they are too dangerous. The overall level of crime in the city is low and crimes targeted at tourists, like pickpocketing and mugging, are very rare occurrences. There are lots of beautiful hotels on highway SS42 near the town of Carciato which might also lead you to believe that this is a great location. While these resorts and lodges are nice, they aren’t near any amenities or restaurants.

This area might seem close to Trento on a map, but the mountainous roads mean it would take you one hour (60 km) to drive to the city.
