Old Town KošiceWhere to Stay in Košice for First Timers

Also known as Stare Mesto, Old Town Košice is the best area for tourists visiting for the first time, and for those who only have a few days to see the highlights.

At the city center, you’ll find a preserved medieval town in the midst of a more modern city.

This is where you’ll find most of the best things to do in Košice, including the singing fountain, Jakab’s Palace, and the Sculpture Immaculata, a monument celebrating the end of the plague in the late 18th century.

For aerial views over Košice, you must climb the bell tower at St. Elizabeth’s Cathedral.
