Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club

One of the most expansive sports clubs in Phuket it has one of the most well-equipped gyms in Phuket with top-of-the-range facilities such as a full wellness area with Jacuzzis, saunas, and steam rooms where you can steam and soak away your aches and pains after a workout, you can use their football and rugby pitches as well as their tennis courts. There is also as an Olympic size swimming pool.

The gym itself is part of the Thanyapura hotels and aside from all of the above, you’ll find all the gym equipment and machinery you could ask for. This famous gym has attracted the likes of famous sportsmen and women such as Jenson Button and Maria Sharapova.

Best of all, a day pass which allows you full access to all the facilities only costs 600 baht. They also host fitness camps and offer a number of packages including fitness and yoga.

Titan Fitness Chalong

This renowned fitness camp is one of the largest in Southeast Asia and is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a transformational fitness regime with its motivated and dedicated trainers who will help you rid yourself of bad habits, poor diets and guide you to a healthier, fitter you!

RPM Health Club

This club situated in Phuket Town belongs to the Royal Phuket Marina and is perfect for those who are looking for a fantastically-equipped gym with classes galore, including Les Mills spinning, yoga, body combat and more.

There are several floors of weights and strength training equipment and it even has its own tennis court! Unfortunately, this gym does not permit day-members or drop-in clients and the minimum membership is for 30 days, at a cost of 6,000 baht. This Rawai gym offers plenty of machinery and is well-equipped, there are a whole array of machines to ensure that you’ll not have to wait in line to use the machines, surely one of the most frustrating things about gyms!

Phuketfit is situated in a Thai-style resort and offers excellent facilities such as a restaurant serving up healthy dishes, yoga studio, swimming pool, a tough obstacle course, well-equpped circuit training facilities and boxing rings for Muay Thai.

Best of all is the tiny price which starts at 99 baht for one day, perfect for travellers who want to keep fit on their travels but are on a tight budget.

If you’ve ever wanted to try Thai boxing or Muay Thai, this is the place to go, it was launched by the champion boxer Khun Sing, this camp situated in Rawai is a great facility which caters to Muay Thai boxers from novice to professional.

You can also buy clothing and Muay Thai gear at the facility and they can also help you rent an apartment within a short stroll of the centre, within easy reach of the beach if you want to relax after a busy day of training.

A two-hour class costs 500 baht or alternatively if you want to train one-to-one the cost of a session is 800 baht per hour, under the watchful guidance of a Muay Thai professional.

Kata Rocks

If you’re looking for an upmarket gym head to Kata Rocks hotel where you can enjoy yoga classes suitable for all ages, Thai boxing classes, ab and core workout classes, free weights and machines with cutting edge facilities.
