Lycian Rock Tombs

Lycian Rock Tombs are a popular attraction in Fethiye. The tombs are located in the mountainside and are carved into the rock. The tombs date back to 350 BC, making them some of the oldest sites in Turkey. Built by the Lycians, the tombs were created to help transport their dead to the afterlife.

Fethiye Fish Market

One of the best things to do in Fethiye is to visit its fish market. Located in the old town, it is open from 8 am until 8 pm every day bar Sunday where the hours are 10 am until 5 pm. Fethiye Fish Market of course has stalls that are selling fresh fish and many other types of seafood.

Plus there are stalls for many types of fruit and vegetables. The atmosphere is really nice and you can even have a coffee or some freshly squeezed juice while you are there!

The area around the fish market also has many restaurants and cafes that are worth checking out. This is a great place to eat some delicious seafood while you are in Fethiye!

Saklikent National Park

Located approx 46km away from Fethiye, Saklikent National Park is the perfect place to go and explore the geology of Turkey.

The park contains a series of canyons that have been carved out by water erosion over thousands of years. There are also many caves that you can explore as well. The park is a very popular tourist destination and it is easy to see why!

There are several hiking trails in the park, as well as high-roped walkways that you can use to reach some of the higher points.
