Largest Country in Central America is Nicaragua and the smallest is El Salvador.

Great Blue Hole is a marine sinkhole in the Lighthouse Reef about 70 km off the Belize coastline. This round-shaped hole is about 124 m deep and is popular with scuba divers.

Nicaragua’s rainforest which is the largest in the Western Hemisphere.

The Panama Canal is an artificial waterway that is 82 km long. It connects the Pacific Ocean with the Atlantic Ocean. It now has three sets of locks and there are artificial lakes and a reservoir.

The largest lake of Central America is Lake Nicaragua. It is home to sweet water sharks.

There are no street names or numbering in Nicaragua. An address is given by whatever major landmarks they live near.

Chocolate was used as currency by the ancient Mayas.
