Travelling King - Finance Planner turning holiday dreams into a reality!

Luxury Travel

Luxury travel is generally associated as something expensive and only for the super-rich, but it doesn’t mean that you actually need to take a loan out or a apply for a credit card to get access to five-star experiences.

The trick is finding a travel destination that provides luxury experiences and of course a destination that offers great deals. Don’t forget, luxury travel can mean different things to different people. If you’re a millionaire, then luxury travel is going to be a heck of a lot different than it is for us every day Joe’s. At the end of the day, if you put your mind to it and save your pennies, you can enjoy luxury experiences such as a honeymoon in the Maldives, hiring a helicopter in Iceland, hire a private yacht in Greece – the possibilities are endless!

Having a background in finance, it means that I can provide tips on how to enjoy luxury travel and how to save your pennies to meet your goals and dreams.

Bose Quiet Comfort 25 – The ultimate noise cancelling headphones on the market for travellers

Once you go Bose you can never go back! Most travellers these days try to travel on a tight budget in order to save as much money as possible and that reflected in the quality of the items they buy, it’s the old saying “you get what you pay for” and this is certainly true of the Bose QuietComfort 25 (QC 25) headphones. They are perfect for music lovers, frequent travellers or if you live in a noisy household. You can sit back and drift off into your own world, enjoying the deep base, crisp guitar and soaring vocals without a care in the world. You can wear these headphones on the train…

Luxury Hotel Review of Hotel Kurrajong Canberra

Hotel Kurrajong Canberra was originally opened in 1926 as a hostel for public servants in preparation for relocation. The hotel has a wealth of history starting with the design of the hotel by John Smith Murdoch who also designed parliament house, to Ben Chifley (Australia 16th Prime Minister) residing at the hotel from 1940-1951 and dying in one of the room (don’t worry there are no scary ghosts..). The hotel has recently been taken over by Toga Hotel Group (and NRMA) who completed extensive refurbishment, returning it to it’s original grandeur, with 21stcentury comforts carefully incorporated. Business Class review of Singapore Airlines - Guangzhou to Singapore

Business Class review of Singapore Airlines – Guangzhou to Singapore

Flight review of Guangzhou to Singapore Flight time: approx 4 hours Plane type: Boeing 777-200ER Seats: 11H & 11K Check in: Check in was quick and easy, we got to go through the skip the line which was nice as there was a nice long line. SilverKris lounge/Premium lounge: We had access to the Premium lounge (just after immigration) in the Guangzhou airport which I found to be very nice. At first we were a little confused as it seems to have several entry points but each time we walked past Singapore Airlines was not on the list (and we didn’t want to look silly), we finally “took the plunge” and walked up to the counter where we were warmly greeted. In the middle of the lounge is a nice selection of food and…
