Dining at Vertigo Restaurant Banyan Tree Hotel Bangkok

Vertigo Restaurant Banyan Tree Hotel Bangkok

Vertigo restaurant is somewhere I have always wanted to go, so we made a booking for that evening dinner at Vertigo Restaurant, it is on the 61st floor of the Banyan Tree Bangkok hotel.

The views  from Vertigo Restaurant were really amazing (minus all the fog and smog), you see panoramic views of the city. Being so high there was a nice cool breeze which was refreshing from the constant heat.

Dining at the Vertigo Restaurant was such a nice expereince (highly recommended), the food was expensive for what it was but how often do you get the chance to eat dinner on top of a sky scraper! We were given giant menus with little torches to be able to read them, there was plently to choose from. We were offered 2 dining optionbs, À la carte or Set menu, we didn’t try the set menu as we haven’t had much of an appetite since we arrived in Thailand, so we went for the À la carte menu.

The staff came around with a camera and took a photo of us and then disappeared and reappeared about 15mins later with a photo for us to take home (how sweet is this!) There was no extra cost either! This really added to the experience. The staff also offered several times to take photos for us using our phones or cameras (I love photos and being in a couple it is hard to get photos together).

The food was nice but nothing incredible, in the end your paying to take in the view and enjoy the expereince and heck why not! We didn’t travel all the way toBangkok to eat at a normal restaurant, we went to Bangkok to eat street food and dine at a rooftop bar!

    hey,
how much is the entry fee for vertigo?
how much will b the dining expenses for two.?

  4. Travelling King

    Hey Garry,
I don’t believe the is an entry fee to go to Vertigo.
It also depends if you ware just wanting drinks or a meal. The meal prices vary but it can be a little more expensive than you would expect from Thailand

Hey there, this place looks awesome. Me and my girlfriend planned to dine and maybe have a drink at here too.
Can I know roughly how much would it cost for 2 persons for dining and drinks?

  8. Samantha Duffield - Travelling King

    Hi sean
It can vary from person to person depending what you are planning to have.
I would suggest getting in touch and asking for a copy of the menu 🙂
