Sports Arenas

I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but the USA has some stunning sports arenas. While you’re taking this trip, you owe it to yourself to visit some of the best ones. Even if you’re not a sports fan, you can’t fail to be impressed by the magnitude of these things. You might not have time to catch a game, but you’ll probably be able to get a tour around the arenas and stadiums you visit. It’ll be yet another memorable element of the experience.

Blogging & Vlogging

There are millions of people who would love to be in your position right now. The best way to share your experiences with them is to blog and vlog as you go. Not only is this a fun way to keep people in touch with what you’re doing, but it could turn lucrative. Multiple travelers have made a large following out of sharing their experiences abroad with the world. It’s only a thought, but if you love being in front of the camera, this might be a good choice for you.

Travel

It’s no fun being behind the wheel all the time. You need to make a decision about whether you’re willing to drive the whole way, or whether an alternative method would be preferable. Or, you could combine the two. If your long drive to Houston has worn you out, you could catch a bus from Houston to Dallas as your next move. Plan this all out in advance, and you won’t have to worry along the way.

Go Couchsurfing

I hate to tell you this folks, but the USA is expensive. Hotel accommodation will break the bank if you’re going to be staying in numerous locations along the way. There are alternatives, such as camping or staying at a friend’s house if you can. The alternative is to use the Couchsurfing platform to find others who are willing to let you stay with them. Obviously, be careful when you’re doing this and look for reputable hosts.

Fundraise As You Go

Another way of making your trip that much more memorable is to fundraise. For example, you could mention that your mission is to visit every sports arena in a certain location. If you can achieve that goal, you’ll complete your fundraising task and raise money for charity. Set something like this up on a crowdfunding website, and you might just make a nice bit of cash.

These are just our ideas, and we’re sure you’ve got some of your own. Let us know if you have any thoughts.
