Inspired by the maestro himself, Herbert von Karajan, conductor. Classical music influences classical architecture: at the highest point in the tower of the Dolder Grand’s main building is the Maestro Suite. This extraordinary two-tier, top-class suite offers occupants some 400 square metres (4,300 square feet) of living space. Each of the two bedrooms has its own luxurious bathroom finished in pale marble, and in addition to the whirlpool and steam shower, one of them also features a sauna. The classically appointed dining room is situated in the circular tower room and can be served from the en suite kitchen. The library is ideal for reading or working in peace and quiet. On the upper floor, the comfortable tower room is the perfect place to relax. Here, the spire’s dark red timberwork has been restored to its original state on the basis of historical documentation. What makes this room/suite so special? – The two-bedroom Shangri-La Suite is the only room on the sixth penthouse floor of Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul, overlooking the romantic Bosphorus Strait. The suite is 366 square metres and has three separate private terraces and most of the landmarks and famous skyline silhouettes are visible. The bed linen has a thread count of 800 while the marble-clad bathroom has a heated floor and a 19-inch TV embedded in the mirror. Toiletries are by Bulgari.

What makes these suites so special? –
The Penthouse Suite has a surface of 1615 square foot and 4 terraces on different levels. The specificity of this suite is the magnificent 360° view of the City of Lights, including several landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, that you can enjoy from either terraces. You can also enjoy the view while eating breakfast in the Winter Garden for instance (as displayed in the attached photo). Another particularity of this suite would be the beautiful white orchids that you can find throughout the apartment.
Whereas the Suite Royale has 2691 square foot. The Royal Suites now have the privilege to enjoy a superb spacious Parisian terrace of 60m² to appreciate fully the beautiful weather!
