Visit the Chatuchak Weekend Market

This is one of the largest markets in the world and you’re sure to spend hours traipsing through it because it contains various goods and more than 8000 stalls!

The market is divided into organized sections so there are many different things to see. You can find everything, from pets and pet accessories, to clothing, books and gardening tools.

While you browse for gifts and interesting purchases, enjoy some snacks and drinks from the vendors. There are also some great restaurants on the outskirts of the market, so it’s a perfect place to spend a shopping day out.

Take a Flight of the Gibbon

Situated in Chiang Mai, this is the longest zip-line tour in Asia, soaring through the rainforest canopy 1300 meters above sea level.

Follow the branch-to-branch route a gibbon might take down the mountain – it’s a great way to explore the region in a more hands-on and adventurous way.

Sail Away on Bangkok Floating Markets

Imagine boats packed with tropical fruits and vegetables and local food cooked from floating kitchens right on the boats. Sounds out of this world, doesn’t it?

Well, it’s a reality and the Bangkok floating markets are a must-see during your trip. In the canals, hundreds of boats even sell items other than foodstuff, such as clothes, incense and other trinkets.

There are many companies in Bangkok with whom you can get a guided tour of the floating market. If getting on the boat doesn’t appeal to you, you can still see everything from the sides of the canals – and perhaps even buy something because many boats conveniently set up shop there.

The park amazingly spans four provinces – Saraburi, Nakon Nayok, Nakhon Ratchasima and Prachinburi.

The highest part of the park, located at Khao Rom, is about 1300 meters above sea level. Enjoy viewing the amazing waterfalls, mountains and valleys, situated just three hours from Bangkok.

Go Shark Diving

Bangkok’s Siam Ocean World is a beautiful and modern aquarium where you’ll be able to see penguins and sharks. Don’t leave before diving with the sharks, though. This is an amazing experience to have during your stay in Thailand and it comes at a reasonable price, too.

You get the chance to be up close and personal with various sharks, such as Tiger Sharks and Leopard sharks, and make your trip something you’ll never forget.
