If you are lucky enough to travel to Margaret River between the months of June and December, you will get an opportunity to enjoy whale watching.

You can enjoy watching these magnificent mammals from the shores, but if you want a close up encounter, you can join a cruise tour up Margaret River and get to see humpback, minke and the blue whales frolicking in the clear waters.

Augusta, which is at southern tip of Margaret River, is among the best places to watch the whales, especially the humpback whales and southern right whales.
