Chianti Classico: Adelaide Restaurant

Chianti Classico is located in Hutt Street in the Adelaide city. It is an award winning, fine dinning Italian restaurant with silver service.

We were sat outside and it was cold and windy but the staff did their best to ensure we were warm, having the heaters on full blast and e even got little blankets on the back on our chairs in case we were still cold. The outdoor chairs look exactly that like, outdoor chair, they look very cheap not something you expect from a fine dinning  restaurant but none the less very comfortable.

At Chianti Classico, the food and drinks were fantastic! Very Italian dishes, lots of pasta’s. The presentation of the food could we worked on, although the dessert was presented beautifully including  little bit of gold leaf.

Being outside, while nice and warm and easy to hold a conversation, at times it took the waiter a wait to get around to us to order initially and make more drink orders as we were the only table outside, I think they forgot about us.

Some food looks so beautiful and perfect I would feel guilty eating it and spoiling the whole composition 🙂

I agree but it is there to be enjoyed, take a quick photo and eat away!

Ahh, this article caught my eye as we just got back from Europe and we spent the day driving around the Chianti region in Italy! Who knew we had our own little piece here in Aus 🙂
Might have to give this one a try whenever we make it to Adelaide!
    Thanks for the review
